• Materials: Hand-woven goatskin. Cotton lining.

• Manufacturing: Entirely handmade in a family-run workshop in southern India, where the art of woven leather has been passed down from generation to generation. The weaving of your PURE is done by hand, interlacing one strand at a time.
• Care: Braided leather develops a patina with use. A soft, dry cloth is all you need to care for it. Keep your PURE away from prolonged exposure to moisture and direct heat sources, and store it away from light.

THE STORY OF THE PURE LARGE

With its clean lines reminiscent of a tote bag, PURE reimagines the basket in a sophisticated style. Its charm lies in its simplicity: a single weave, two handles, and no leather trim.

These handles are cut directly from the body of the bag, just like on the PURE at RAFFIA. This detail defines the model’s silhouette.

PURE is the only model in the collection that already existed in RAFFIA. The summer version, crocheted in Madagascar, is a large, flexible basket measuring 55 cm. This version is hand-woven from goatskin, 12 cm shorter, and much deeper: 18 cm deep, with a snap closure and interior pockets. The same commitment to simplicity, in a piece that’s perfect for both the city and winter.
